Shianne is co-owned and loved by Amy McCool in Georgia . Shianne started her career by winning Reserve Best Intersex 6-9 month puppy at the 2002 Samoyed Club of America National Specialty! Shianne is a very independent girl but is also very warm and loving.
Shianne has traveled on to the Rainbow bridge (November 2006) and we miss her! Her legacy is carried on in her daughters Pip and Anna.
Shi-Shi's Story
Shianne had two lovely daughters and they were well liked in the Sammie community. Several people hoped for a repeat breeding so that, perhaps, there would be others as nice. So, Shianne's owner Amy gracefully consented to an additional breeding beyond the one promised by contract. Shianne was bred and did not appear to be pregnant and she returned home to Amy. Then one day Shianne was very, very ill and Amy rushed her to the Vet's. They confirmed that there was one puppy and it was apparently dead and causing grave problems for Shianne. Amy raced Shi to the Emergency Vet's and after they were able to stablize her they did emergency surgery to spay Shianne and save her life. The pup was dead and apparently had been for awhile. Shi came through the surgery but died a short time later without warning. She is sorely missed by us all but most especially by Amy. Bless you Shianne for all that you are and all that you gave! We will see you again at the Rainbow Bridge!
